Combining over than 15 years of experience acquired through working as an in-house Counsel for number of national and multinational companies, and as Senior Associate at one of the biggest international law firms, with main focuses on complex of corporate, commercial, labour, insurance and reinsurance matters.

Islam Consistently advising international and local clients on diverse wide range of commercial transactions including corporate formations, complex corporate restructuring and planning; joint ventures, mergers and demergers, acquisitions, dispositions that involved the preparation, drafting and negotiating of all relevant documentation such as shareholders agreements, share and purchase agreements, escrow agreements, etc.  Islam also has enhanced a remarkable expertise in economic zones with special nature and free zones projects (established the fourth project company inside the SCZone).  He handles all types of corporate resolutions (board and shareholders͛/partners͛ resolutions), private equity, legal audits, due diligence reports, employment/labour related matters including, but not limited to, termination of services, lay-off plans, leaves, salaries, benefits and overtime schemes, social security, collective bargain, stock plans, pension schemes and economic shut down, in addition to drafting, negotiating and/or reviewing commercial agreements of multiple types and natures such as agency, franchise, distribution, management and service agreements.

Islam enjoys an extensive experience in insurance and reinsurance, capital market, tax laws and regulations, IP protection and renewable energy.  He further negotiated with various counterparties multiple types of agreement such as licensing agreements, SLAs, NDAs, MOUs/LOIs, etc.  Generally, Islam possesses an overall experience in assisting foreign and local investors in establishing and running their business in Egypt.
